The impression kit

Your kit comes with 6 trays.
We only need 2 good ones.

Taking a dental impression at home might sound intimidating. It isn't — and here's why: your kit ships with 6 individual impression trays per arch. To build your denture, we need 2 usable impressions. That means you can have a rough start with 4 trays and still be completely fine.

On top of that, your hygienist is watching you the whole time on video. She'll tell you the moment something looks off — before you've used up a tray. She's done this with hundreds of patients. You're not doing this alone, and you're not reading instructions off a piece of paper.

We need exactly one good upper impression and one good lower impression. That's it. The other four trays can go straight in the trash — and that's perfectly fine. The wax try-in process starts from those two. There is realistically no reason we can't get what we need to at least get you to the try-in stage. The kit is built with this buffer on purpose.

Why does this matter?

Most patients are nervous about the impression. It's the one step that happens at home and feels uncertain. We designed the kit and the hygienist call together so that worry is off the table. Six trays. A live professional. Real-time guidance. If the first one's not perfect, you have five more — and someone coaching you through every one of them.

If something doesn't work out

The only extras — and they're rare.

In the unlikely event that impressions can't be used — even after all 6 trays and a hygienist call — there is one flat additional charge. This situation is uncommon. Your hygienist is specifically trained to prevent it.

Every patient needs impressions for both arches anyway — that's how we build your case. If a second kit is needed, the $49 fee covers both arches together, not per arch. You will never be charged $49 twice. Worst case: your $600 denture costs $649. That's still the most affordable full-service denture available.
